Pricing & Payments FAQ
How do I obtain an accurate price quote for my surgery?
Before you reserve your package or make any travel plans, your TransOp surgeon reviews photos of your face or body and prepares a personalized procedure recommendation. Your quote reflects those suggested procedures. Upon arrival in Guadalajara, your surgeon will examine you in person — and while most packages remain unchanged, any recommended adjustments will be accompanied by a revised quote based on our published pricing. All final decisions are yours to make in consultation with your surgical team.
Are surgical quotes provided in U.S. Dollars or in another currency?
All prices are quoted in U.S. Dollars but are based on costs that we incur in foreign currencies. Our prices are updated periodically to reflect exchange rate fluctuations. Your package price is locked in at the time of deposit for surgeries taking place within six months of booking. Updated pricing may apply to surgeries scheduled beyond that window.
What payment methods are accepted for surgical procedures?
For the deposit, we accept major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover) and bank transfers. No processing fee is charged on your deposit. Most patients pay the remaining balance by wire transfer a few days before travel. Credit cards can be also used for the balance, but credit card processing fees may apply. Checks of any kind are not accepted. Full details are outlined in your surgery agreement, which you will review and sign before paying your deposit.
Is financing available for international medical patients?
Yes, we collaborate with a specialized healthcare financing company that facilitates medical tourism loans for gender-affirming care. At present, our provider offers loans to patients located in the United States. Our patient coordinators can guide you through the application process.
What exactly is included in the comprehensive surgical quote?
Your TransOp quote covers all major costs associated with your procedure and stay — including surgeon and anesthesiologist fees, hospital and operating room fees, pre-operative testing, private recovery accommodations (excluding bronze recovery package), airport transportation, and post-operative nursing care. The exact inclusions depend on the procedures selected and your chosen accommodation tier. A full breakdown is provided with every personalized quote.
